We found these washed up snail shells on the beach at Pigeon Lake.

We always used to say to our children that the horse/Easter Egg/car/airplane etc. that was placed on a post like this was there because it was bad. It became cheap travelling entertainment when someone would spot a "bad whatever." This tractor must have done a bad, bad, thing. Sight and Sound: Pictures and Music. This fine fellow demonstrates that he can be photographed in landscape mode and does not always perch in portrait.

This Pileated Woodpecker blinks as he works over a dead stump. This is the first time we have seen one on the family recreational lake property in the 7 years I have been visiting. He was very focused on his task and allowed me to take a number of photos. Cropped.
