In the morning I bought a new mailbox lock for my renter and installed it since he had lost his keys and there was only one mailbox key (the other was also lost). We had been at the lake cottage a day before and my wife left her pile of keys (enough to choke a horse) at the lake. Since she was busy and it was a nice day, I drove back the hour to the lake and the hour back to retrieve them. There they were, right on the front step where she left them. If "Love is the Key" retrieving this many keys might make me the most loved person anywhere.

Peahen with pigeons. She won't get as many stars as the male I will post later but I wanted to give her a chance to show off by blending in. There were a few of these plump girls in the tree with a couple of males. I had never seen one of these birds perch before or fly, as they did soon after I found them in this tree. At Castelo de S.
