Council Chamber, Polonnaruwa

පොළොන්නරුව பொலநறுவை - And still wandering through a dense vegetation, our eyes wide open find here and there treasures, masterpieces from an ancient epoch... And we realize we are in a lost city, in the middle of the forest. A magical place. A unique experience. The ancient kings of Sri Lanka are calling us.

Lion Rock, Sigiriya

සීගිරිය சிகிரியா Mystical Place. I was very fortunate to reach its summit (no, no heroic deed at all.. around the rock, in spyral, there's a perfectly safe path with large and solid stairs...). But on the top of the Rock, a whole plain of forest and gardens spreads beneath us
