In October the last hotel had bed bugs. so back home I had to freeze everything I had in that hotel room for at least 3 days - cameras included. That took quite some time with only a fridge freezer, I had to do it in batches.
Then the hot water boiler broke and had to be replaced, then the heating was defect and to top it all a pipe broke in the flat above and the water came down.... So I was a bit preoccupied;-)

Gudrun club has replied to Xata clubI'm glad to say that the cameras survived- memory cards and accus out, put in freezer bags and after they come out of the freezer leave them in the bag for at least another day. The Canon went first, only after that came out alright did I dare to freeze the Q2;-)

They had to do pretty much the same thing (but without the cameras)! Luckily the hotel accepted some responsibility and refunded some of their money. They also offered another visit free (which they refused) funnily enough..!!
