Cathedral Cove

Cathedral Cove lies on the east coast of Coromandel peninsula and is part of Te Whanganui-A-Hei Marine Reserve .
The whitish rocks consist of 8 million years old rhyolitic ignimbrite.

Thanks a lot, Steve! Lucky you, when you grew up this surely wasn't as crowded as now. The path to Cathedral cove now is a highway;-)
