Die Elbphilharmonie - immer noch nicht fertig (Dezember 2011)!

Hamburg: Blick vom Turme St. Petris auf die neue Konzerthalle in der HafenCity, errichtet auf der Basis eines alten Kaispeichers - die Skandale und die in schwindelerregende Höhe gestiegenen Baukosten erinnern mich an das Sydney Opera House.

Hamburg: View from the steeple of St Peter's over at the new Concert Hall in the HarbourCity, which is being erected on the base of an old warehouse. This is our equivalent to the Sydney Opera House, what with all the scandals and the costs rising to staggering heights - and still no end.
