Kyle of Lochalsh - Coop

Kyle of Lochalsh is the English name of the town, which is known as Caol Loch Aillse in Scottish Gaelic. Most of the locals speak Scottish Gaelic, a Celtic language related to Irish. The relationship with the Irish language can be explained by the immigration of Scots from Ireland to Scotland from the 4th century onwards.
