Yatton - St Mary

St Mary's Church in Yatton, built around 1400, is often called the "Cathedral of the Moors" since it is so large compared to the village. It is likely that a previous church was located on the same site. The chapel which was added in 1496.

The tower has three stages and a hexagonal stair turret rising above the parapet.
