Taunton - St Mary Magdalene

Following Simon Jenkins, an authority on English churches, the tower of St Mary Magdalene (aka "Taunton Minster") is "the noblest parish tower in England".
It is 40 metres high to the roof and 48 metres high to the tips of the pinnacles. Built originally around 1503 the tower was rebuilt in 1858–1862.
