Dolmen da Pedra Branca


The Dolmen da Pedra Branca is located south of Melides. It was built during the late Neolithic period around 2500 BC and reused in the Chalcolithic period (around 2000 BC).
It was originally a dolmen covered by a tumulus with a polygonal chamber with a diameter of about 3.85 metres and a height of 3.4 metres. 65 burials were found inside the dolmen.
