Owl tracks in the snow

Skiing on the slough next to my property today I came across this spot where and own swooped down to grab dinner, leaving the imprint of his wing feathers on the snow.

The owl's dinner's tracks were a bit too indistinct to be sure but I suspect it was a red squirrel.
