Changing to his summer coat

This guy was out at six thirty this Sunday morning seeing if he could find any fresh spring greens to eat.

He's in the process of shedding his white winter coat and donning a nondescript, lighter weight, gray/brown outfit to allow him to blend in with the summer flora.

Now, 9:30 Sunday night (the sun won't set for another hour): The coats don't quite match the flora yet, I've been watching 3 very visible rabbits playing in the woods for the last twenty minutes.
