The title may seem strange but late May it will be white when Cotton Grass takes over the display.
An example for World Photography Day that records the scene but gives no indication of the wonder of being there, a pleasantly warm day a stiff breeze and not another person to been seen

It looks absolutely beautiful Peter, and must have been wonderful to breath the fresh air and take in the view. The cotton grass sounds lovely as well. I would love to see a picture of it sometime.

There are 2 photos of cotton grass on my page 49 although it was a bit hazy at the time it's the only place I have seen cotton grass, if you want a holiday NT have a property White Edge Lodge, apparently you can lie in the bath admiring the view while you recover from your day on the moors :)))
