I like this a lot. What's the red blossom?

It's an ornamental crab the fruits are very small barely pea sized, there is a problem with it scab disease it will be dropping it's leaves by July

You can have to much of a good thing it was the wettest March for forty years and April isn't much better, it's a crab tree

I knew about Tea Day yesterday, but not that it was Earth Day today! Have I got my priorities right I wonder ;-) Rain or no rain, it's a very attractive picture and the blossom is beautiful.

I have to admit Annemarie posted a photo ready for Earth Day, it's amazing how the tree flowers it'a a crab with apple scab, I put every scrap of plant material from the front garden in the council green waste bin to try to stop it spreading to my apple tree. If IM Properties get their way those fields will be covered with warehouses
