There is Ash Dieback so Health and Safety has gone into overdrive although dead or alive they would probably stand for years quite safely. the NT seem to have developed a passion for felling trees they also like clearing either side of a narrow path and calling it a ride

dat is in deze tijd van het jaar raak
i find it kind of sad that we think we can 'manage' nature. there are always debates here about removing trees from forests - clear cut or individually - they never can seem to decide which it better.
but i digress. i really like your composition and the beauty of the scene here. quite a delight.
