Just goes to show what a close-up can reveal. There is an old tree, or part of a tree in Stourhead that looks like a monster walking into the lake at a certain angle. Unfortunately someone was sitting on it the last time I visited, so didn't get another shot at it.

I only went over to it for somewhere to sit and have a sandwich , the next time I go there I'll take a macro lens
