nbx - nest cup {1 of 2}

Long abandoned nest [cup] found displaced from the support branches and hidden in ivy during the winter, only retrieved for an image in late April. Tucked it back near where it was found with some hay.
Was made from roots, mud and may have had some grass as a lining - probably a blackbird or thrush, as Turdus sp breed freely around here.
