A general view down the cliff lift, and out onto the pier ...
Depending how you measure the gauge it is around 4ft 2 1/2" - and all the same top to bottom !

One car is at the lower station.

Saltburn has a nice sandy beach and a pier (which has been shortened due to a ship collision), at the bottom of the cliff.
