Wintery view

The view from the window, after the first real snow of the year in these parts. As is normal procedure when an inch or so of snow falls, the local media went into panic mode, with tales of woe about the roads being clogged with standing traffic, the transport system in a complete shambles, and scores of schools being closed around the region. Heaven help us if we get the amount of snow that’s been falling in other parts of Europe.
