Lane's end

Lane's end
The end of Saltcoats Lane. Comes in from the left, then turns into Saltcoats Caravan Park.. A footpath/track to Ravenglass carries on alongside the wall towards the centre of picture. Not for the next few hours though. This is at just about high spring tide of 8.5 metres.

Whilst it can get quite busy at Ravenglass in the season, the Saltcoats side of the river is rather quiet, apart from the traffic to and from the residential caravan park at Saltcoats, shown here, but very quiet when the park is closed from November until March.
