Staring in the dark

The Sunday Challenge = Cats ---------------- Many cats today. Many people gazing at many cats. Wondered how many cats would gaze at us...... Prezz Z to see them stare, maybe F11 helps too ---------------

Mail box

The sunday challenge = This week, your challenge starts off with a suggestion by Michelle MAIL BOXES, which I quite like as I saw some funky ones when in America, very different from over here. I think it was suggested before and it was said that not everyone has them, but surely there must be somewhere you can receive mail? So I will stretch Michelle's theme to MAIL BOXES, LETTER BOXES, POST BOXES, POST OFFICES, ANYWHERE YOU CAN RECEIVE OR SEND MAIL ----------------------------- I like the light, the ton-sur-ton effect and the very French way of finishing this

The devils wears ...

The sunday challenge = similarity, two or more objects in one image connected to each other ---------------- A little bit twisted between rememberance of the 9/11 disaster and my idea of similarity I chose to show what similarity means to me, I hope I can make my point without explaining too much. Doesn't mean I don't feel deeply committed with those who feel the pain after 15 years.... ---------------

Ypsilon

The sunday challenge = shoot something from 3 different angles. Convert the 3 pictures to monochrome (doesn't have to be B&W - see link) and arrange them in a triptych --------- Just returned from holiday .............. Meet the ypsilon table (can also be used as a floorlight) - I thought it would be a very appropriate subject for this weeks challenge. Three images taken at either side, I first cut the table out of the three shots and then combined them into one tryptich as if they were taken simultaneously in one shot. If you take a closer look you can see the slight differences in lights and color.... ----------

Who drank what?

The sunday challenge = beverage/s, drink/s - from cups of teas/coffees to Blue Lagoons/wines/ales, in the pub, in a cafe, on a picnic or in the comfort of your own home. ------------------------------------------ With the olympics coming up, questioning the athletes being clean, this has never has been more actual: WHO DRANK WHAT? ------------------------------------------

Random Point

The Sunday challenge = Use the random point generator www.geomidpoint.com/random , set your co-ordinates and select 1 point. You can decide how far away you will be prepared to go in miles or kilometers. Go to the point and take a new photo. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The random point generator led me to this beautiful pond, exactly 3 km westbound from my home. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Explore Frontpage, thanks everyone!

Car

The sunday challenge = Car -------------------------------------- The two horses gazing at the white car are by far exceeded by it in horsepower. In fact it is a beautifully restored Buick Electra 225 Hardtop Coupe, 1969, 7 ltr V8, 337 HP. Energy was not so much an item these days as it is now. Far away you see a couple of 100 meter high windmills, more representing our modern time. But still many boys dream of driving that American classic ….. --------------------------------------
