The Sunday Challenge = Portray something “ephemeral” (= lasting for a very short time, a fleeting moment) --------------------------------- Due to bad weather conditions our satellite receiver sometimes freezes with a picture full of blockiness ; an ideal opportunity to catch a few ephemeral portraits; for the record: you’re watching this years Tour-de-France, with cyclist faces too fast for the eye, normally … Did some postprocessing, hope you like it. ---------------------------------

TheSunday Challenge = Alfabet or parts of it ----------------- Now URK hats, according to our forum discussion, are no longer allowed, it made me wonder what would be acceptable: 1. There’s no dictionary to explain the word urk, but: 2. The Urban Dictionary: to urk = to piss someone off, to annoy or bother someone deeply, to vomit 3. Urk is a municipality and a town in the Flevoland province in the central Netherlands. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urk . For this occasion I transformed the shield of our own town into one of Urk…. -------------------

The sunday challenge = Liminal spaces -- there are 2 definitions, feel free to portray whichever suits you best. 1) of or relating to a transitional or initial stage of a process 2) occupying a position at, or on both sides of, a boundary or threshold. ------------------------------------ While driving last week behind this 1960 Opel Classic I felt like being in the liminal zone between history and reality: my early youth rolling before me, tempting me to reach out and touch. In reality all I could do is keep my eyes on the road and try to make a cellphone shot. At home I added this vintage look.
