Cool find and photo! Actually ... in 1965 the telegraph morphed into ARPANET packet switching which became the basis what we know as the internet today.

well that's interesting news, but not only telegraph changed, telephone became booming with the invention of the mobile phone and afterwards the smartphone, "poste" first seemed to die caused by the invention of email but later boomed with the need to deliver all those parcels .....
