The sun had just risen in the Calder Valley bathing the scene in warm morning light.
Railfreight Class 60 diesel 60056 was held for 10 minutes at Heaton Lodge Junction with 6E36 the 02.30 Liverpool Biomass Tml Gbf to Drax service. The TransPennine Express Class 185 diesel multiple unit is a northbound empty stock movement and is emerging from the tunnel on the ex-LNWR New Line to Leeds.
