They are clearly not employing students in the labour pool this summer. Back in the late 60s I used to work in a steel works in Scunthorpe and one of the jobs was on the coke ovens. After the rams had emptied an oven into the coke car and the car had trundled off to the quenching tower we had to pick up the spillage. Not a lot of picking up here! Not a lot of lasers either back in 1969.
