Meadow Mill

T & J Leigh owned the Meadow Mill in Stockport. This double mill was built in 1880 for textile spinning and in 1914 was operating 120,000 spindles for cotton, marino and cashmere. The original concept for the mill did not include the towers but these were incuded as built. The octagonal chimney is 170ft tall.
