Last few days

The demise of Woolworths is upon us and the frenzy continues to buy everything that is left, including the fittings and fixtures. There will no doubt many who will miss this institution that has been on our High Streets for all but one hundred years. In latter years I felt that they had lost the plot somewhat and rarely purchased anything there. It looks as if others acted in the same way. I do hope that the staff are able to find alternative work quickly.
