Chinese Industrial Posters - 3

Another example of the art of Chinese industrial posters. This time from the dusty smog-ridden coal mining town of Yaojie in Gansu Province. At the entrance to Sankuang Mine No.3 stands this wonderful image of the 'glamorous' coal mining industry. The girls in the orange helmets are amazing, and as for the lump of coal that is being held aloft in the centre................
One thing is for sure, there can be very few days, if any, when the air here is clear enough to see the snow capped mountains around Yaojie.
The caption is of less interest. It says 'Welcome to Sankuang'
