The unloading point

At one time the coal from the Jalainur opencast coal mine was laboriously taken by train up out of the pit to the washery via several reversals. Today an unloading point has been constructed in the pit, from where the coal is taken to the washery on an underground conveyor. There are also coaling and watering facilities provided here for the locomotives.
