One of the larger coal mines around Hegang in Heilongjiang Province which supplies most of its production to a power station a few miles away. At this time the colliery was undergoing development to a larger scale of operations.
I find the use of colour on Chinese industrial buildings to be a really interesting difference from what I see at home. Can you imagine this happening in the UK?
