Huanan Winter
Winter lasts a long time in North-East China and this image was taken in mid-April. The previous day had seen bright warm sunshine! This is the Huanan Coal Railway in Heilongjiang Province with one of the delightful narrow gauge 0-8-0 locomotives slogging up to the summit of the line with a train of coal empties.
