Bird on a wire......fence.

Photographed near Colne, North-West England, using a Nikon D300s camera and Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 lens. Processed with Nikon Capture NX2. The bird was about 50 yards away and I had trouble holding the camera still because of the extreme cold and the weight of the camera-lens combination (2.5 kg / 5.5 lbs) but it turned out reasonably well despite the fact that the lens (which was set on "auto-focus") seems to have focused on the twigs in front of the bird. Next time I'll use manual focus !!
Karp Panta, Graf Geo, Percy Schramm, Marie-claire Gallet and 5 other people have particularly liked this photo
