To Hebden Bridge....maybe?

A confusing sign seen on the Cycle Route Waymarker 68 in Colne, England. According to these directions, Hebden Bridge is both left (North) and right (South) although in fact there are no left or right turns here. Hebden Bridge is actually 11 miles from here to the East !!
