"Old Pendle".

Pendle Hill. The diagonal line running from left to right is the most popular (and steepest) pathway to climb the hill, starting at the village of Barley. The summit, 1827 feet / 557 metres high is just out of view to the left.
Camera: Nikon D300s.
Lens: Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8
"Pendle, old Pendle, majestic, sublime
Thy praises shall ring till the end of all time
Thy beauty eternal, thy banner unfurled,
Thou dearest and grandest old hill in the world"
("Old Pendle". Milton and Allen Lambert).
