1920's Citroën

Taken at a local Citroën 2CV meeting some years ago, this elegant 15HP Citroën saloon is from the mid twenties, and was Citroën's first real attempt to enter the quality end of the French car market. It was followed by the more succesful Citroën Grande Lux, known affectionately as the "Rosalie".
The gent looking at the car is a member of a local Creusois choir, wearing traditional costume. Taken with the very first model Canon Digital Ixus, only 2.1 mpx !!

Mikeinlagardette has replied to Nouchetdu38 clubMikeinlagardette has replied to Marta Wojtkowska cluball I can tell you is that he was a member of a local choir, who were singing traditional Creusois songs, and all the men wore similar clothes. He is wearing brightly painted wooden shoes - clogs( En.), sabots(Fr.) zoccoli (It.) ?
I do not know if the costume is factually historic- (the women were much more attractive, with beautiful hats and vividly coloured scarves, but of course, they were not interested in the cars !!!)
Ciao, Mike
giovanegian has replied to MikeinlagardetteYes, "zoccoli" is right.
Cheers.
