Fortunately, the minimalist fence does not block the spectacular view. It also does not provide much security for absent minded photographers focusing their cameras, who may tumble the 1,000 meters to Yosemite Valley below. The Grim Reaper (Half Dome) sees all.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera with a Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:3.5/55mm lens using Kodak Ektar 100 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
