The Holly and the Ivy + Mistletoe in the PiP
Pagan symbolism of believing that evergreens in winter kept away evil spirits merged with Christian celebrations over the years and the use of holly, mistletoe and ivy in evergreen boughs is long standing in the UK.
Unfortunately all the holly berries were taken by the birds during the cold spell we had two weeks ago.

TSC: Tradition
Jedes Jahr an Heiligabend mache ich mit meiner Mutter einen Ausflug in die nahe Umgebung und wir gehen spazieren.
Dieses Jahr haben wir eine alte Burgruine gefunden.
Frohe Weihnachten euch allen!

That sinking feline (Explored)
Whenever I am in a rush in the morning, I have a sinking feeling that my cat will seek attention by jumping into the sink, thus preventing me from using it.
The Sunday Challenge: Take a photograph of an ordinary everyday item(s) in an out of the ordinary place. A place where you would not normally find the item.
Examples:
A banana in a hot dog bun
An umbrella in the shower
A cat in a bird cage (only if the cat will cooperate and you have a birdcage) lol
The sillier the better . Creativity encouraged!!!
****The added twist: give the photograph a vintage effect.

Shipwrecked (Explored)
These are bottles that I collected from shipwrecks while scuba diving. They are probably about 70-80 years old.

Bottles
November 5th 2017 TSC Challenge: Bottles.
I have a few old bottles which I've collected over the years, so this was an easy challenge. The PiP shows by favourite bottle, a MORLAND & Co beer bottle with a marble in the neck.
