This big guy was a blast to watch! I have never seen this kind of animal behavior in the wild before.

Most animals do do it... it helps to keep the ticks and bugs off.. and actually can clean the coat believe it or not !

I know I have just never seen it before, how can rolling in dirt keep you clean.. I should give it a try!

Dust will clean the coat ... its like blottting paper.

It cleans feathers too... birds frequently take dust baths.

The most important thing to the animals and birds is some peace from the bugs.
