I live in reasonable dark skies... it was the reason to move here. but.. as far as Aurora are concerned.. we are too far south. I did see some in the UK.

Shuttering Yukon has replied to Pam J clubOh how incredible Wendi, I have only seen them a few time in Northern Michigan ... those didn't have the lovely curves to them like this image, they were like a curtain of light draping down from the skies, just silently hanging in the air. You can only image what people thought so long ago when they didn't understand these spectacular displays of mother nature. Would so love to be able to "hear them sing." :) Now I am off to revisit the book of Auroras in the Yukon.
