Downtown Calgary from the SW

Took this view looking towards very distant downtown Calgary (zoomed image) from one of the gravel backroads just within city limits to the SW. A sky full of cloud layers and a touch of sun on the harvested field. The Calgary Tower used to once be the tallest building in the city, but is now dwarfed by the new addition, The Bow, which you can see just to the left of the Tower. Photo taken on 3 October 2013. Today, the whole scene will have changed, thanks to a blanket of snow that has been falling all day today.
