Freezing fog

This was just a very quick shot of a Maximillan Sunflower seedhead, covered in ice from the dreadful freezing fog that we had two days ago, 6 April 2013. Taken at Frank Lake, SE of Calgary, the only place I know where this plant grows. It was windy enough to keep the seedheads moving in and out of the viewfinder and my arm wasn't long enough to hold this one still : ) The last few years, I've looked forward to either one or two trips a year that have been organized to go to Frank Lake, partly because I knew these Sunflowers might just be in bloom. Now, I can drive there myself, any time I want - and it feels wonderful! When I first arrived at the blind at the end of the gravel road, I walked towards the blind but discovered that the boardwalk was also covered in this ice, and decided to turn back half way.
Today: problems (red X) with Farm 8, Cache 1. Will Flickr ever again work without problems?? I realize that with such a huge website, there are bound to be all sorts of issues popping up all the time, but .... gets really tedious. Flickr has Hiccups....
