Curious White-tailed Deer

Quarter of an hour after I took the Great Gray Owl photo that I posted today, I noticed these two White-tailed Deer far across a field. As is usual with deer, I find, their curiosity got the better of them and they just had to turn and look in my direction. They will be so glad when the last of the snow falls and they will once again, after many long, winter months, have fresh green shoots to eat. Taken SW of Calgary, on 8 April 2013.
