Out of the darkness and into the light

This beautiful Daisy (?) was growing at the Reader Rock Garden on July 6th. We have a Winter Storm Warning in effect right now and it's snowing - looks miserable out there and I really wish I didn't have to go out for my volunteer shift. However, today is the annual pot-luck turkey lunch for the Wednesday volunteers and I look forward all year to this : ) Just hope I can clear the snow off my car, with my very painful arms. It's only -2C (-9C windchill) this morning, so could be a whole lot worse.
