In the lily pond

It's most unusual for me to not remember taking a particular photo, but this is one of them : ) I do know that it was taken at the Calgary Zoo on 11th October 2010, in the very small pond in the ENMAX Conservatory at the Calgary Zoo. I would imagine this flower had been picked by a small child and dropped into the water - though I remember having a conversation with another photographer who was standing by the pond a few months ago, and he was saying that some photographers will do the same thing, just to get a photo. I always love the patterns in the water around the edges of flowers or leaves.
