The "important parts"
Long-time passion
Head held high
Winter in all her beauty
Grey Crowned Crane
Glorious orange
One of my favourite owls
Flowers of the Castor Bean
Gentle beauty

Cosmos
Monday blues
Red Tree Brain
You didn't know they grew on trees?
Sunny thoughts
Watchers in the woods
Two of a kind
Lowly, but handsome, House Sparrow
Yellow Pondlily
Pale pink
Snoozing in the snow
Patiently waiting for spring
Labrador Tea
Little splashes of red
Beauty in the forest
Dwarf Dogwood
Colour in a colourless world
Curves

Maybe there's hope after all, LOL
Survival of the fittest

Happy Valentine's Day
Frosted history
The same, but different
Happy Chinese New Year
Happy Valentine's Day, friends
Two for the price of one
Into the Great Wide Open
A burst of pink
The beauty of winter

Friendly interaction
Beneath the trees

Braving the cold

A VERY fluffed-up House Sparrow, photographed just over two years ago on a bitterly cold day! How different from the more usual sleek look.
"It was first introduced into North America at Brooklyn, New York in 1850 and in Canada at Quebec City in 1858. In Alberta, it was first recorded at Red Deer in 1898, about the same time it arrived on the US west coast." From talkaboutwildlife.
