Fringed Grass-of-Parnassus


I think I have only ever twice seen this wild plant, both times out in the mountains. This particular plant was growing at the edge of a stream/waterfall at Grassi Lakes. Not a very safe place to try and get a photo, but they are fascinating flowers. Actually, I like the patterns in each of the tiny water "spots", too.
