My friends promised me rain that weekend - as it always rains in Wales. But I believe that when I travel the sun follows me. Usually I am right. It was June, it wasn't raining at all that weekend - but it was 5 C degrees in the morning...

Im Juni und dann 5 °C, das erinnert mich irgendwie an Island, da war's auch so schrecklich kalt!
Das ist aber ein hübsches Fotomotiv und du scheinst ja auch wirklich Glück gehabt zu haben, mit der Sonne, die dir gefolgt ist!

Ich hatte meinen Freunden versprochen, dass es nicht regnen würde und war froh, dass ich recht behielt. (In der Beziehung sind mir tatsächlich schon merkwürdige Dinge passiert). ;-)
Aber es war lausig kalt - und es war nicht so angenehm, in dem alten Haus morgens aufzustehen. Ich glaube mich zu erinnern, dass es im Schlafzimmer etwas frostig war.

Ich fand Llanthony sehr beeindruckend und war froh, dass meine Freunde es mir gezeigt hatten. Wales ist generell sehr schön! Und ich fand es sympathisch, dass sie dort wohl nur freundliche Geister haben, die den Menschen helfen (habe ich gerade bei meiner Geisterrecherche herausgefunden). ;-))

Many thanks Joan! :) I quite liked this view through the old arcs... Imagine glass-stained windows... and some sunshine falling through...

It wasn't supposed to be sunny that weekend, and my friends warned me that it might rain all the time. I said that this would surprise me as I always travel with sunshine. ;) Most of the time it was sunny - but there were some clouds as the pictures show.
I had it another time when I celebrated my 'Viva / Starparty' in Reading. I got a sunshine percentage of 10 for that weekend in the forecast that finally dropped to 5%. I trusted in my luck and I got a 100 %. But it was cold, really, really cold on the 15th of May... Still some people had their ice cream outside. ;)
