Wales
After having shown pictures of the Lake District I stumbled across these pictures from Wales. Friends of mine have a house there and we stayed over a weekend. No, this is not the house - although it is also quite old - about 500 years or so. ;-)
These are the ruins of the priory of Llanthony which was built in the 12th century. Wiki knows more about it, of course!

(I mention this because he's one of my favourite painters - and I just found out myself that Llanthony was one of his motifs).

Wall With a View in Wales
Llanthony Abbey.
My friends promised me rain that weekend - as it always rains in Wales. But I believe that when I travel the sun follows me. Usually I am right. It was June, it wasn't raining at all that weekend - but it was 5 C degrees in the morning...
