Holy Cow! Totally Wacko!


Here is the entire berry stalk for you to see, and it's about 2.5 feet tall, can you believe that?!! Laura and I could not stop gawking at these wierdo plants! Behind the stalk you'll see one of the leaves I took a close-up of, shown yesterday. Apparently these plants love the weather in San Francisco because I saw them growing in my father's neighborhood, and there was an enormous grove of them here in the Arboretum.
