Clayfolk show! This is a collaborative piece by Penelope Dews and Julia Abbot Janeway: Totem

Hi everyone! I'm still taking a break, but I have this beautiful preview image to show you! (best viewed at full size against black)
The last two Clayfolk artists that I'll be showing work from are the dynamic duo, Penelope Dews and Julia Abbot Janeway. By themselves, Penelope and Julia are amazing talents, but look what happens when you put their skills together! This magnificent totem measures about 3-4 feet tall and stands atop a pedestal, which makes it hard for me to judge its size accurately. There is so much detail in this piece that I found myself taking many pictures from every side to capture its essence properly. The bottom part was created by Julia, and I think she also made the bird at the top. The richly-colored and textured globes in the middle (and disks I think) were created by Penelope. It was fun to stand back and watch people come over to stare, move to another side and stare some more. For good reason...this is a total masterpiece and these two ladies should be extremely proud of themselves!
I will be showing detail shots of this totem when I get back to it, but for now, I hope you enjoy this!
If you would like to contact Penelope or Julia, you can reach them by phone or email:
